A Shared Engineering Workflow

"Aureon became an extension of our engineering team, helping us move quickly on the frontend while giving our own engineers the flexibility to focus on the systems behind it." — Rask AI Team

Building Together, Not Handing Over

Rask AI came to Aureon Dev with an existing engineering team and a clear vision for its product. Rather than taking over development entirely, Aureon joined the project as a co-development partner, working alongside Rask AI's engineers to accelerate the product's frontend development and bring the experience together around their existing technical direction.

Our work focused primarily on the Rask AI website, frontend architecture, integrations, and the initial frontend foundations for the product dashboard. This allowed Rask AI's internal team to continue concentrating on their custom backend and underlying product infrastructure while Aureon focused on creating the interfaces that would ultimately connect users to those systems.

A Shared Engineering Workflow

The project was structured around shared development rather than a traditional agency handoff.

Aureon engineers worked directly alongside Rask AI's internal team, developing frontend components and integrations while maintaining close communication around the backend systems being developed in parallel.

The two teams could therefore iterate independently while keeping the overall product connected.

When a frontend feature required a specific backend capability, both teams worked through the requirements together. Rask AI's engineers could then implement the corresponding backend functionality and connect it to the frontend systems Aureon had helped establish.

This approach allowed development to move forward concurrently instead of requiring one team to completely finish before the other could begin.

Establishing the Product Interface

One of Aureon's primary responsibilities was developing the frontend experience that users would interact with.

We focused on creating reusable interface foundations that could support Rask AI's growing product, rather than treating every page or feature as an isolated implementation.

The dashboard work was particularly important. Aureon established the initial frontend skeletons and interface structures that could later be connected to Rask AI's custom backend systems.

This created a foundation for the product's user-facing experience while leaving room for the internal team to continue evolving the underlying functionality.

Integrations & Connecting the Pieces

A major part of the collaboration involved connecting the interfaces Aureon developed with the services and systems being built by Rask AI.

The frontend needed to be structured around real application data, authentication flows, API interactions, and other product functionality rather than simply existing as a static interface.

This meant developing the frontend with the eventual backend architecture in mind and maintaining a close feedback loop between both engineering teams.

The result was a development process where the frontend and backend could evolve together rather than being treated as two disconnected projects.

Co-Development in Practice

The Rask AI project demonstrates the kind of co-development Aureon Dev was built for.

Rask AI retained ownership of its product direction and custom backend engineering while Aureon contributed frontend engineering, integrations, architecture, and implementation support.

Rather than replacing the existing engineering team, Aureon became an additional engineering capability within it.

The collaboration allowed both teams to focus on their respective strengths while working toward the same product: a polished frontend experience supported by a custom backend and built to evolve alongside the platform.
